<p><b>New page</b></p><div>I became a member of SIL International in 2000 and received my initial training at the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics (GIAL) in 2000-2001. My first field assignment was in Ethiopia, where I was a member of the language survey team from 2001-2007, becoming team leader in 2002. After the SIL Ethiopia survey project came to a close, I moved back to the U.S. and returned to GIAL in the spring of 2008 in order to finish a masters degree in language development. Having graduated in June 2009, I began to prepare for a new survey assignment in Angola.</div>Admin
