<p><b>New page</b></p><div>Katie grew up in west-central Illinois, USA. She received a degree in Cross-Cultural Studies from Toccoa Falls College in Georgia, USA. She later completed two summers of linguistic courses, including a Socilinguistic Survey course, at SIL-University of North Dakota and the Canada Institute of Linguistics in British Columbia. Katie and her husband John started work with the SIL language survey department in Papua New Guinea in 2010.</div>Admin
